Lewisboro Horsemen's Association Spring Poker
Ride. Back by popular demand and
once again, sponsored by Beval's Saddlery, LHA Poker ride will be held
Sunday, May 18th, from 9 am - 12 pm, at Lewisboro Town Park, in South
Salem, NY. Entry: $35/per person ($40 day of).
Teams of 2 or 3 to be sent out at three-minute intervals. Riders
14 yrs and under must be accompanied by an adult. Object:
Teams will follow a marked course. There will be 5 stopping points
along the way where one member from the team picks up a playing
card. Upon completion of ride, teams turn in their "poker hand" to
the officials. There will be a showing of the hands after all the
teams have returned. Teams with the best hands will be awarded
prizes at the BBQ immediately following held at the Town Park Pavilion.
